Business and Organizational Accomplishments:
2019-2017 Gshkoziwin Program — The Milkweed Collective South
Janan Arts (Independent Professional Graphics Design Business / Acting Agency of Record): Working initially primarily in the manufacturing industry, then to the finance industry, and then to include innovation and product development. Jeanette introduced her clients to a design approach with a more 'retail' sensibility, pushing the designs to a more creative interpretation. As of this writing, Janan Arts had functioned successfully for over 40 years. Working with notable clients throughout those years, surviving two recessions, with a solid business paradigm. Currently focusing on a blended career in both the visual arts, exploring frescos and the design arts, illustration, cartooning, and wonderfully weird drawings.
be contemporary gallery (Independent Owner/Curator Commercial Gallery): As the founder, director, and curator of Innisfil’s first art gallery, 'be contemporary gallery', she hosted a series of important exhibits during a very difficult timeframe (2019-2022). 'be contemporary gallery' was a unique hybrid: a commercial space run with a public gallery's sensibilities with programs and visual art exhibitions that engage the community and stimulate awareness of Canadian local and regional artists. She recalls, “I enjoyed connecting with people, so it was a natural progression to offer representation and opportunities to other artists. It survived the pandemic, but unfortunately, after my husband passed away in 2021, it was closed”.
2019-2024 Innisfil Sculpture Group – Jeanette Luchese is Founding Member (Organizer) of the Innisfil Sculpture Group, an artist collaborative formed in the interest of bringing awareness to the visual art practice of sculpture. Vision and Mission: Expand public awareness and appreciation of sculpture through the creation and understanding of sculpture and its unique and vital contribution to society. Engage artists and arts professionals in a dialogue to advance the art form, through education, effect social change to promote a supportive environment for sculptures and sculptors in Innisfil, Ontario.www.innisfilsculpturegroup.com
2011-2023 Celebrate Lake Simcoe - Executive Member, Environmental Group, Innisfil, Ontario
The Lake Simcoe festivals were an annual event, hosting swim competition, environmental information booths — and even the first Pow Wow held in Innisfil. Dedicated to environmental education and awareness of Lake Simcoe. The event was organized by a not-for-profit group of volunteers who have produced this statement as a reference for event participants now and in the future. Celebrate Lake Simcoe highlights and focuses solely on Lake Simcoe and its Watershed from an environmental and grass roots perspective, looking at the lake as it was 200 years ago and earlier, as it is now, and how it might be in the next 200 years. (Dissolved in 2023)
2017-2022 PRNT Collective - Founding/Sustaining Member - Acting President. PRNT is an artist collective located in Barrie, Ontario dedicated to fostering the printmaking arts. The fifteen founding members focus on both traditional and contemporary practices such as letterpress, relief, intaglio, lithography and screen printing. PRNT strived to build audiences and interest in printmaking by engaging the broader creative community with its programs and exhibitions. Closed in 2022.

- Guest artists included: Luci Dilkus, John Hartman, Laura Hudspith, Cheryl Ruddock, Sasha Shevchenko, Paul Shilling, Bewabon Shilling, Marlene Hilton Moore, Sadko Hadzihasanovic, Roy Hickling and many more.
- Represented Artists included: Amy Bagshaw, Bernice Vasey, Brian Barrer, Claudia Mandler McKnight, Gail Esau, Jill Price, Kim Brett, Nathalie Bertin, Tanya Cunnington, Tim Laurin, Sue A Miller, William Blakey and William Moore.
